RC-Model Klemm 25d – Laser-cut Kit
In the mid-1930s, the Klemm 25 was among the most popular sports aircraft in Germany. This popularity was particularly evident in 1935, when no fewer than 111 Klemm 25 aircraft from the d and e series took part in the German air rally, which had a total of 161 registered aircraft. For many years, the Klemm 25 has also been one of the most appreciated modular models in the Krick range.
It was therefore time to adapt this design to the latest production and construction methods. Thanks to the targeted use of laser technology, all plywood and balsa wood parts have been designed for a simple and intuitive plug-in assembly, enjoyable to build and allowing a fast, rigid, warp-free structure without special tools. Despite this modernization, particular attention was paid to preserving the original shapes and exemplary flight characteristics of this classic.
Compared to the previous version, many requests from modellers for a more modern design have been incorporated. The central wing section, equipped with the landing gear, is now firmly attached to the fuselage, and both wing halves are mounted onto it. The aileron servos are installed inside the wings. In addition, the entire cockpit area, from the engine cowl onwards, has been redesigned to be removable with a magnetic holder, providing optimal and convenient access to the RC equipment. Despite all these improvements, the model remains as light as its predecessor and maintains the same impressive flight performance as the original.
The kit includes all wooden parts precisely laser-cut, all linkage components, cockpit windows, landing gear parts and wheels, the vacuum-formed cowl, and the decal sheet. A detailed illustrated building manual makes assembly very easy. Covering material, adhesives and paints are not included.
