The Messerschmitt Me 262 A-1a "Schwalbe" was the world’s first mass-produced jet fighter to enter combat service. The Arma Hobby kit is produced using a brand new tooling manufactured in 2025, based on a very precise 3D cell model created by Arthur Bentley, one of the most respected aeronautical researchers and designers.
The project focuses on faithful reproduction of the aircraft shape, correct geometry and a high level of detail, while maintaining a logical and user-friendly assembly design for modelers. The model replicates features of the Me 262, including deployed leading edge slats, richly detailed landing bays, R4M air-to-air fuses and 250kg bombs.
