Complete kit of a functioning windlass This electric anchor winch allows an anchor of your ship model to fall freely and lift slowly. The anchor winch can be built with either one or two winch drums. The version with 2 drums is intended for simultaneous anchor dropping and lifting prod by two anchors. In the version with the large one-piece drum longer or thicker anchor chains can be used. This is controlled via a proportional channel with a servo that holds the armature in zero position, pulls up the armature in one direction and disengages the gear motor in the other direction. A slip clutch ensures that when an anchor is hooked or high up, nothing can happen if the engine is not switched off. In your ship model, the winch is mounted below deck. It can also be used for other wind activities on ship models. The winch is delivered as a mounting kit and is completed in 2-3 hours. It consists of plastic parts, gear motor, a servo, switches, parts for the clutch and all screws, small parts and installation instructions.
