F8F-1 Bearcat: A Legendary Historical Aircraft.

The F8F "Bearcat," the last piston engine fighter developed by Grumman, made its first flight in August 1944. Powered by a Double Wasp engine, it outperformed many aircraft of its time.

With over 1,200 units produced, it was used in conflicts from Korea to Vietnam and served with the U.S. Navy's flight demonstration squadron, the Blue Angels, between 1946 and 1948.
