Soviet BTR-152K1 APC 1/35The BTR-152 was a Soviet six-wheeled armored personnel carrier, built on the chassis and drive train of a ZiS-151 utility truck. It entered service with several Warsaw Pact member states starting from 1950 and formed the backbone of Soviet motorized rifle battalions until the introduction of the BTR-60 amphibious series in the 1960s.BTR-152s were available in several variants and were produced in large numbers for the Soviet military and for export. Late production models used automotive components from the more reliable ZIL-157 truck. Three main variants of the BTR-152 appeared between 1950 and 1959: the basic armored troop carrier with a single 7.62mm or 12.7mm machine gun mounted on a pivot, an unarmed command vehicle with a higher roofline, and an anti-aircraft variant armed with a ZPU-2 mount. The BTR-152s could each transport an infantry squad or specialized weapon teams with their mortars and anti-tank equipment. In Soviet service, some of them were also deployed as artillery tractors.BTR-152V (1955) - Variant based on the ZIL-157 truck with an external tire pressure regulation system, a front-mounted winch, and night vision devices for the driver.BTR-152K (1959) - Received an armored roof with three large hatches on top, two of which opened to the right into the troop compartment, an internal tire pressure regulation system, and a filtering/ventilation system. The vehicle's weight increased, and the crew size decreased from 2+18 to 2+13.Model of a Soviet military vehicle made of plastic to be assembled by gluing and paintingScale: 1/35Dimensions: Length: 194.3mm Width: 66.3mmNumber of parts: 380+Photo-etched parts: 1 sheetNumber of sprues: 10 sprues and tiresAdditional Information:
