Bow thruster for HAPPY HUNTER
Transverse thrusters are used on boats both at the front and at the back.
Originally, they were developed as bow thrusters, in order to be able to move the bow of a ship to the right or left, which is practically impossible to steer directly.
This is also their main use in ship modeling, as the available space in the front part of the hull is generally sufficient.
They are particularly useful during berthing maneuvers or when reversing, moments when the effectiveness of the conventional rudder is limited.

These transverse thrusters are distinguished by their high power and truly operational performance.
Please note that the drive motor must be used with an electronic controller with a forward/reverse function.
While the conventional rudder is typically controlled with the right stick of the remote control, the transverse thruster can be assigned to the left stick (right/left). The tubes can be disassembled and easily adapted to the shape of the hull.
The transverse thrusters from the Raboesch brand are characterized by the use of high-quality materials and careful manufacturing.
The thruster can be installed vertically or horizontally.
By using O-rings in the housing cover and sealing rings on the drive, the transverse thruster is 100% waterproof.
The drive is provided by a two-blade propeller, which draws water into the propulsion tube and efficiently expels it on the other side with relatively high pressure. The design is particularly robust, requiring no maintenance.
The pump body and propulsion tubes are made of shock-resistant ABS.
The transverse thrusters rb108-01 to rb108-05 are controlled by a progressive electronic controller allowing forward and reverse operation.
For wide hulls or specific applications, steel tube extensions are available as an option.
The transverse thrusters come with a fully assembled electric motor.
The integrated Blue RM410 motor can operate at a voltage of 6 to 9 V. If a different voltage is required, Raboesch electric motors with various nominal voltages are available.
