The CEN NX-26 is a Big Block .26 thermal engine designed for 1/8 scale remote-controlled cars, particularly the CEN Matrix buggy in its early versions.
Identified by the reference CEN G70360, this pull-start engine features a 3-port ABC design, a three-needle carburetor, and a generously sized aluminum cylinder head.
NX26 pull-start engine originally equipped on the CENRACING MATRIX 1/8 Buggy.
This engine easily replaces the FORCE 21 engine of the Gunner thermal Buggy.
Simply flip the Gunner's engine mounts to fit this new engine onto your Gunner GP.

The CEN NX-26 G70360 thus constitutes a characteristic engine of the first-generation CEN Matrix buggy, particularly interesting for the restoration or re-commissioning of a model equipped with its original engine.
The NX-26 is a 2-stroke .26 category thermal engine.
Its design is based on an ABC architecture, with an aluminum piston and a chrome-plated brass sleeve.
The connecting rod is machined in aluminum and the cylinder head has nine cooling fins to promote heat dissipation.
The engine is equipped with a pull starter, directly integrated into the rear housing.
The throttle carburetor of the NX-26 has three richness settings: high speed, low speed, and mid-range.
This system allows for precise carburetion adjustment based on the engine's behavior and operating conditions.
The original spark plug fitted is the CEN G70429, also identified as plug no. 3 in the Matrix documentation.
The CEN NX-26 mainly marked the first generations of the 1/8 Matrix.
Its original documentation includes a complete exploded view and still allows for the identification of various spare parts: cylinder head G70360-02, piston-cylinder assembly G70360-08, carburetor G70360-10, crankshaft G70360-15, and slow needle G70360-12.
Independent tests conducted at the time on an X-Dyno bench indicated a measured maximum power of 1.02 HP at 23,200 rpm, with a maximum torque of 53 oz-in at 18,000 rpm.
These figures correspond to historical bench measurements and are not manufacturer values.
