The OS MAX 55 AX is a powerful two-stroke engine, equipped with a crankshaft mounted on two ball bearings, suitable for competition sport and aerobatic models.

It is equipped with a 40K double-needle carburetor, with the main needle positioned towards the rear for safe engine adjustment while running.

The basic set also includes a highly efficient expansion muffler of type E-3071 (Power Box).

The exhaust outlet orientation can be changed by rotating the rear of the muffler 360 degrees.

The crankshaft has a thread for a UNF 1/4-28 propeller nut.

Recommended propellers: break-in 12x7" / sport and aerobatics: 12x7", 12x8", 13x6", 13x7".

Recommended fuel tank: 350 to 400 ml; a 350 ml tank allows approximately 10 to 12 minutes of aerobatics, provided you do not fly continuously at full throttle.

Recommended fuel: minimum 18% castor oil or synthetic oil (or mixture), 5 to 20% nitromethane.

Recommended spark plug: OS MAX #8 or #10 with a higher nitro content.

The engine set includes: OS MAX 55 AX engine with RC 40K carburetor, E-3071 type muffler, main needle extension, #8 spark plug, manual.
