A Ship Full of History
Built in Frederikshavn (Denmark) in 1931, the St. Canute served for a long time in the port of Odense as a tugboat, icebreaker, and fireboat. Its robustness and versatility made it an essential vessel in the Danish fleet. Later, it was sold to a British company to operate on the coasts of Cornwall, before being preserved at the Exeter Maritime Museum, where it is still visible today in exceptional condition, with its original engines and boilers perfectly preserved.
