Convair US Navy Pogo Vertical Takeoff Fighter 1:48
The Convair XFY (nicknamed “Pogo”) is a Cold War military aircraft built by Convair for the United States Navy in 1953-1954 as a carrier-based fighter. This was a very ambitious project (the aircraft was designed to take off and land vertically) and never progressed beyond the prototype stage. It was officially abandoned in 1956.
