ZAP-A-GAP CA+ is the best-selling instant adhesive in the world.

Its ability to bond virtually all materials together, with a consistency unmatched by other brands, makes it the preferred adhesive in many fields and applications.

Modeling and Creative Hobbies Applications

Highly used in the world of modeling and creative hobbies, ZAP-A-GAP is considered one of the most reliable and high-performing adhesives for building models and miniatures.

RC airplanes, remote-controlled cars, RC boats, and model trains are assembled and repaired with ZAP-A-GAP.

Aeronautical modelers trust it for:

  • spars,
  • ribs,
  • engine mounts,
  • radio trays,
  • structural elements.

RC car enthusiasts also use ZAP-A-GAP to securely hold:

  • bodies,
  • tires,
  • accessories subject to high stress.

Creators, jewelry manufacturers, and hobbyists also appreciate this adhesive for creating strong and durable assemblies.

Sports and Outdoor Uses

From novice fishermen to fly fishing experts, many use ZAP-A-GAP for:

  • fly tying,
  • lure repair,
  • fishing gear maintenance.

Fishermen also appreciate its effectiveness for:

  • strengthening knots,
  • making lures,
  • creating moisture-resistant assemblies.

Taxidermists trust it to ensure the longevity of their creations.

Archers use this adhesive for:

  • fletchings,
  • arrow inserts.

It is also highly appreciated for:

  • pool cue tips,
  • darts,
  • bowling ball inserts.

Woodworking

Furniture making, cabinetmaking, knife making, woodturning, and many other applications benefit from the performance of ZAP-A-GAP.

Whether for:

  • wood-to-wood bonding,
  • restoring antique furniture,
  • repairing damaged surfaces,
  • bonding fabrics,

ZAP-A-GAP provides excellent adhesion.

Z-End Tip or Flexi-Tip nozzles also allow for precise fillets when needed.

Dental Applications

ZAP-A-GAP is particularly effective for:

  • articulators,
  • pins,
  • bases,
    • dental model repairs.

Its medium viscosity prevents excessive dripping while ensuring excellent penetration into plaster models.

Plastic articulators, often difficult to glue, can be effectively fixed with just a few drops.

When combined with Zip Kicker accelerator, it significantly speeds up operations for significant time savings.

Instructions for use

A small amount is sufficient. Using more glue does not necessarily mean a stronger bond.

It is advisable to apply only the amount needed to evenly cover the area to be glued when assembling parts.

In many cases, applying to only one surface is sufficient.

Working and setting time varies depending on the materials used.

Although ZAP-A-GAP CA+ is a gap-filling formula, some of the glue may penetrate porous materials.

On these surfaces, it may be necessary to use more product to achieve optimal strength.

It is recommended to conduct preliminary tests to determine the ideal quantity.

For modeling applications requiring a small fillet:

  • first glue the parts,
  • let dry,
  • then add additional glue to form the fillet,
  • use an accelerator for immediate curing.

For critical applications, it is recommended to test the assemblies to verify their final strength.
