The Mirage III is a multi-role aircraft designed by the French aerospace manufacturer Dassault Aviation in the late 1950s. It is the first European-designed combat aircraft capable of exceeding Mach 2 in level flight. The Mirage III has led to numerous variants and has achieved significant export success with 21 user countries and 1,401 units built (including Mirage 5 variants). Switzerland, Australia, and Belgium built it under license. Israel locally produced aircraft based on the Mirage III (Nesher and Kfir). While the first Mirages were delivered in the early 1960s, many units were still in service around the world at the beginning of the 21st century, 40 years later. They have generally undergone extensive modernization. Mirage III B (two-seat training, first flight on October 20, 1959) The fuselage is extended by 58 cm to accommodate a second seat, and it does not carry guns or radar. After the appearance of the Mirage IIIE, this version was replaced by the Mirage IIIBE equipped with navigation radar but still without a targeting radar, recognizable by its pointed nose. Compared to the Mirage III of the same brand, this model features a new fuselage and canopy. The proposed decorations include France, Australia, Spain, Switzerland, and South Africa. 5 variants are offered with this kit: Mirage IIIBE: Two-seat training aircraft based on Mirage IIIE for the French Air Force, similar to the Mirage IIID. 20 units built.
