Are you looking for a set of paints suitable for your London tramway model?
OcCre offers with reference 90536 a finishing pack designed for this model.
It includes 10 pots containing the colors, shades, and varnish needed for its decoration.
You thus have the products provided by the manufacturer to work on the different surfaces and details of this tramway model.
This set allows you to prepare painting operations without having to select each product individually.
The colors are used to reproduce the different painted parts of the vehicle, while the shades help to work on the appearance of the wooden elements.
The varnish completes the assortment to achieve the finishes planned on the model.
The OcCre London model reproduces an old London tramway at a 1/24 scale.
Its construction notably combines wooden elements and metal parts.
The diversity of materials and details requires careful painting to differentiate the surfaces and highlight the vehicle's equipment.
The 90536 pack is a complement intended for this model.
It does not include the tramway construction kit, but only the 10 pots of finishing products.
Brushes and accessories needed for application should be provided separately.
Before starting, dust the parts after their preparation and sanding.
When possible, carry out the painting before assembling the elements to facilitate access to hard-to-reach areas.
This method is particularly useful for the details of the body, frames, and small equipment.
Plan for brushes of various sizes: a fine brush for details and small parts, a larger model for extensive surfaces.
For wooden parts, if necessary, perform a shade test on a scrap piece to check the result.
Apply the products gradually and follow the usage and drying instructions on the pots.
The varnish allows for the finishing of the concerned surfaces, according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
Wait for the complete drying of previous layers before handling the parts or continuing assembly.
The London model reproduces motor car 106, built in April 1903 for the London County Council.
It belonged to a series of 100 class B tramways, designed to operate in the streets of the British capital without overhead electric lines: power was supplied by a collection system installed in an underground conduit.
Used for passenger transport until 1925, motor car 106 was then converted into a snowplow and renumbered 022.
Preserved and restored, it is now exhibited at the Crich Tramway Village in Derbyshire.
It is the only remaining representative of its series.
With its 10 pots of colors, shades, and varnish, the OcCre 90536 acrylic paint pack supports the finishing of the London model.
It allows for the grouping of products intended for the decoration of this historic tramway and for working on the various elements of its 1/24 scale reproduction.
