The ACV-P (Amphibious Combat Vehicle – Personnel) is the U.S. Marine Corps’ next-generation amphibious combat platform, developed to gradually replace the long-serving AAV7. Designed to meet the current demands of high-intensity amphibious operations and littoral missions, the ACV-P combines excellent maritime stability, strong land mobility, and enhanced crew protection. It is capable of conducting continuous operations from ship to shore and then advancing further inland.

Today, the ACV-P is officially in service within U.S. Marine Corps combat units. It regularly takes part in operational deployments and realistic training exercises, making it one of the most representative modern amphibious armored vehicles currently in service. This 1/35 scale military model kit is directly inspired by these operational versions.

About the model

This kit represents the only plastic model kit of the ACV-P currently available on the market in 1/35 military scale.

From the initial concept to final approval, the development of this project took a full year. Throughout this period, ZIMI MODEL worked closely with an international team of military experts, gaining access to extensive first-hand reference materials, including photographs of the real vehicle, detailed structural documentation, and precise technical data. Every element—overall proportions, armor layout, mechanical assemblies, and distinctive details—was carefully verified and refined to deliver an accurate and coherent reproduction at 1/35 scale.

Tooling technology and building experience

From the earliest design stages, this kit was developed around three key priorities: maximum accuracy, high finishing quality, and a smooth building experience. This 1/35 scale military model kit makes extensive use of advanced injection-molding technologies, including multi-directional slide molds and an intelligently planned parts breakdown.

The result is a plastic military model with clear assembly logic, precise part fit, and excellent structural consistency. Assembly time is optimized without compromising detail. The build remains accessible while offering finely textured surfaces, multi-layered structures, and a faithful representation of the ACV-P’s engineering features across the entire vehicle.

The kit also includes, as standard, a CNC-machined brass gun barrel, providing superior precision, perfect concentricity, and enhanced realism compared to traditional plastic parts, significantly improving the final appearance of this 1/35 military model once completed.
