The Black Pearl, originally named HEIC Wicked Wench, is a ship from the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy.

The Black Pearl is easily recognizable by its black hull and sails.

The ship was originally named Wicked Wench before being burned and sunk by Lord Beckett.

Davy Jones then raised it from the depths of the sea after making a pact with Jack Sparrow, who renamed it the Black Pearl.

It was especially the legendary curse resulting from the mutiny led by Hector Barbossa that made it feared by all as a cursed ship. It enjoyed the reputation of being the swiftest ship in the Caribbean.
