Fairey Barracuda 1:48 plastic model aircraft
The Fairey Barracuda is a British Fleet Air Arm dive-bomber used during the Second World War. It was the first aircraft of its type built entirely of metal. Intended to replace the aging Fairey Swordfish and Fairey Albacore biplanes, it played an important role in the attack on the German battleship Tirpitz, and was known for its unusual appearance with its wings folded. It takes its name from the barracuda, a predatory fish.
