The Billing Boats Jylland 1/100 ship model is a faithful reproduction of the famous Danish frigate Jylland, one of the most iconic ships in Denmark's maritime history.

Launched on January 20, 1860, this frigate of the Royal Danish Navy was the last large Danish warship built entirely of oak.

It also marks an important milestone in naval evolution as it was one of the first military vessels to combine sail propulsion and steam engine with propeller.

With its 400-horsepower engine, the frigate could reach the remarkable speed of 12 knots, while still being able to sail solely with the sail thanks to a clever system that allowed the propeller to be raised in a well to reduce drag.

The Billing Boats Jylland 1/100 scale model is a wooden naval modeling kit designed for experienced modelers.

Once assembled, this impressive historical frigate model measures approximately 101 cm long, 63 cm high, and 13 cm wide.

It is a remarkable piece for enthusiasts of historical ship models and military vessels of the 19th century.
