Model of Buccaneer S.2D airplane 1:48 scale
The Blackburn Buccaneer was a British low-level attack aircraft; it was defined in June 1952 under the reference NA.39 by the naval staff. First flight on April 30, 1958. The Buccaneer entered service with the Fleet Air Arm in 1962 and was retired from service in 1978. The first RAF unit to receive the Buccaneer S.2B was the 12th squadron at Honington base in 1969. It served with the Royal Air Force until 1994, notably during the Gulf War in 1991. The Buccaneer was a mid-wing, twin-engine, two-seat aircraft with folding wings. It was capable of carrying nuclear weapons.
