The ACV-P (Amphibious Combat Vehicle – Personnel) is the next-generation amphibious combat platform of the US Marine Corps, developed to gradually replace the famous AAV7. Designed to meet the current requirements of high-intensity amphibious operations and littoral zone missions, the ACV-P combines excellent stability at sea, high terrestrial mobility, and enhanced crew protection. It is capable of conducting continuous operations from ship to shore, and then advancing inland.

Today, the ACV-P is officially in service within the combat units of the US Marine Corps. It regularly participates in operational deployments and realistic training exercises, making it one of the most representative modern amphibious armored vehicles currently in service. This 1/35 scale military model kit is directly inspired by these operational versions.

About the model

This kit represents the only plastic model of the ACV-P currently available on the market in 1/35 military scale.

From the initial concept to the final validation, the development of this project spanned a full year. During this period, ZIMI MODEL worked closely with a team of international military experts, having access to numerous first-hand reference sources such as photographs of the actual vehicle, detailed structural documents, and precise technical data. Every element — overall proportions, armor architecture, mechanical assemblies, and distinctive details — was meticulously checked and optimized to provide a faithful and consistent reproduction at 1/35 scale.

Molding technology and assembly experience

From the early design stages, this kit was developed around three major priorities: maximum precision, high finishing quality, and smooth assembly experience. This 1/35 scale military model kit utilizes advanced injection molding techniques, including multi-directional slide molds and smart sprue design.

The result is a plastic model with a clear assembly logic, offering precise parts fitting and excellent structural coherence. The assembly time is optimized without compromising the level of detail. The assembly remains accessible while providing finely textured surfaces, multi-level structures, and a faithful reproduction of the technical features of the ACV-P throughout the vehicle.

The kit also includes, as standard, a CNC-machined brass gun barrel, ensuring superior precision, perfect concentricity, and increased realism compared to traditional plastic parts, significantly enhancing the final appearance of this 1/35 scale military model once completed.

The ACV-P not only represents a new vehicle: it concretely embodies modern amphibious warfare doctrine.
