The Freewing Ares 90 mm EDF Jet is a major advancement in EDF jet design, created for pilots who wish to go beyond speed or scale flying to enter the world of 3D and post-stall aerobatics.

Developed in partnership between aerobatic champion Sebastiano Silvestri and Freewing Model, the Ares is specifically designed for extreme aerial maneuvers, including cobras, flat spins, and tumbles.

At the heart of its extreme capabilities lies Freewing’s second-generation dual-axis thrust vectoring system.

Thanks to a redesigned nozzle structure, thrust loss has been reduced from 35% in the first generation to less than 6%, providing much more usable power for post-stall maneuvers.

Combined with two onboard gyroscopes and a tunable CG weight system, the Ares delivers the precision, stability, and control authority required to perform aerobatic figures rarely seen on jets.

Practical innovations such as quick-release wings with automatic wiring connections, a 7-LED lighting system, and durable CNC-machined landing gear struts make the Ares both easy to transport and a pleasure to fly.

Equipped with a powerful 6S 12-blade EDF power system and an advanced dual-gyro configuration, this jet offers both raw power and precise control, opening the door to a new level of EDF aerobatics.
