WSP 10 1:20 radio-controlled electric boat

This vessel was built at the Bodan shipyard in Kressborn, Germany, and delivered to the Bavarian harbor police on June 30, 1989. The vessel is stationed at Passau on the Danube. A regional vessel, the WSP 10 is powered by 300 hp MAN diesel engines, enabling it to reach a speed of around 40 km/h. In normal service, the boat is crewed by two people and equipped with radar, echo sounder, autopilot, 4 radios and explosion protection. The boat and its crew have a wide range of tasks, such as surveillance, particularly of dangerous cargoes, and normal police duties. Another important task is environmental monitoring.

The WSP 10 patrols an area stretching from the Austrian border to around 80 km upstream.
