The Hasegawa 72129 (QG29 - General Jack Stay) set is a set of 1/350 scale photo-etched parts designed to enhance the realism of Japanese warships, particularly the aircraft carriers of the Imperial Japanese Navy.
The Hasegawa 72129 reproduces the General Jack Stay, tubular metal structures installed on the sides of Japanese aircraft carriers.
These elements were mainly used as temporary working platforms during maintenance, painting, or ship and superstructure maintenance operations. They were foldable or removable as needed.
The set is made of photo-etched brass, allowing for extremely fine parts that are impossible to accurately reproduce in injected plastic.
