If you want to make the static model of the Type VII b submarine (S02120310) navigable and submersible, you will need the propulsion and diving kit. Larger depth rudders than those used in the scale model must also be used.

It is not possible to convert the static model into a submersible model later.

The propulsion and diving kit includes 2 drive motors with coupling, all connecting parts for the larger rudders, covers and seals for the RC box, as well as the gear pump and pipes.

The technique:
The diving procedure of this model is semi-dynamic, meaning a pump and ballast tank are included in the diving set, but they are only used as support for dynamic dives (assisted by speed).

In addition to this propulsion kit, you will need to acquire the following to obtain a submarine ready for navigation:

- a 4-channel remote control,

- 2 servos to operate the diving and rudder controls,

- an electronic speed controller for forward and reverse, an electronic speed controller to fill the diving tank.

Regarding the battery/batteries, the modeler is free to use the configuration they prefer based on the available space inside the compartments and the balancing of the submarine.
