Based on a Danish cargo ship built in 1902 in Svendborg under a different name. From 1933 to 1942, she sailed under the name “CARLI”. In 1944, while en route from Wismar to Odense, loaded with coal, she hit a mine and sank. 2 of the 5 crew members on board survived..
